The Highline Water District, a special-purpose municipal corporation, provides water for about 76,518 residents living in the area of Kent City, Washington. Established in 1946, the Highline Water District currently obtains its supply from a combination of sources: 73% surface water from Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) Cedar River Watershed and 27% groundwater from four wells that draw water from the Highline and Deep Aquifer beneath King County.
