Insightful Reviews

We've curated some of most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:.

“In terms of performance it's hard to fault. I love the jacket/sleeve thing that it comes with - it looks cool and keeps my hands safe. Plus you can hold it when you're pouring for extra control. The spout gives you a really nice steady flow of water so you can use it for hand drip coffee realy easily or just for general use. I've finally got a pour over kettle with a large enough capacity to keep a house full of people happy as well! Not sure how I managed without a thermometer before! That problem of over overheating water has ruined my coffee in the past but I haven't done since I got this. I was a bit worried about it not working on my stove (it's induction) but it's great on that too (it works on all stoves apparently). Everything about this kettle is quality - the build, the packaging and the instructions all on point. It looks amazing just sat in the kitchen too! If you're into coffee, you won't do better than a True Brew - it's true!” — Amy
“I've had this great little kettle a little over a month now. I use this over my smallest gas burner. It takes about 7 minutes to bring 14 oz of water to brewing temperature which this little kettle nicely displays on an analog temperature gage. After the water is emptied into a Willow & Everett stainless steel coffee filter nestled in a Melitta #6 cone, I get about 13 oz of great tasting coffee! The build is solid and well-done. Unlike other reviews, using gas does not allow the handle or the sides (covered with silicone) to become too hot to handle. Also, if, after heating and emptying, you allow the top to remain ajar thus letting the remaining water to steam off, there will be no rusting. So far, I'd highly recommend this device for pour-over applications!” — Dale
“You thought paying $40 meant it was actually going to last? Haha! Inside bottom has flecks of metal imperfections that are aleady rusting OUT OF THE BOX. Inside bottom tarnished after a single use. Horrible overall shape/design with permanently fixed thermometer bracket that makes the interior impossible to get your hand in and clean. Sending it back after one day. Would love suggestions for a non-Chinese built kettle that will actually last.” — Jessica
