Insightful Reviews

We've curated some of the most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:

“I've been using these off and on for 5 years. I follow a every 6ish month dump and fill from municipal water supply and have noticed no bad odors or smells. Water is clean and tastes like tap water, which is fine because when you need it, you need it. Handle feels like it could snap off when filled but it'll be fine as long as you don't make swing it by that. Would like it if they would be molded JUST right so you could set it upside and fully empty but...eh. Just dump, do a bleach rinse, dump and fill. Hint: Store with painters tape OVER the spigot inlet in an "X" with the date filled. It'll prevent a bug or dust from getting in it.” — Matt
“I was very surprised at this water container! A few impressive things: 1) The cap is beefy with a nice o-ring on the seating surface. It tightens down by hand snugly and has lots of threads, so I didn't feel like I was going to strip the threads. 2) The spout is a simple affair, but is of the same sturdy material as the cap and it screws on to the inside of the cap for storage (so the cap is flush as pictured, for storage). You would think that this would be a simple idea, but I've got 2 CARB gas tanks in my garage that actually pump gas out of the tank if you try and store them pointing inside the tank! 3) The tops and bottoms are molded so that other Aqua Paks of the same size can lock in. They stack on top of each other nicely. I'm planning to stack them 2 deep and 2 high. 4) The material is BPA free (big, round stickers advertising this) 5) The material is a nice blue color that makes it very easy to see the water level inside. 6) The tops were mounted so that, if you store them with the cap facing up, the caps aren't underwater (less chance for leaking) 7) The material is thick and doesn't deform or bloat out at the middle when standing on its own.” — Ela
“These have held up really well for over a year, and we've actually purchased a second container. We refill them about once a week and they maybe get a little banged up getting them into/out of the car and the grocery cart, but they've held up great and never leaked. We took a month-long road trip, and they were in the car with us the entire time (and we refilled them along the way), and they didn't leak. That definitely earned my trust, and it was so nice to always have plenty of water with us on the trip. Just to be safe, we always transport them with the spout facing up. It's pretty easy to dispense the water from the spout. We keep them on a shelf on their side, so we just release the water straight from the spout into our water bottles or pots/pans for cooking. We like that these are BPA free, as well.” — Vanessa
