Insightful Reviews

We've curated some of the most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:

“I have become fairly specific about what I look for in a tea kettle these days- it needs to whistle, large capacity, cool and durable handle, not drip when pouring, a top that stays on when pouring, an opening that makes it easy to clean, and a finish that stands up to a busy kitchen. This baby has fulfilled all of those things and I have had it for a couple of months now. Worth the money. And it looks great on my stove!” — Henry
“I LOVE this teapot. It looks cool, heats well, does what it's supposed to. However, BEWARE THE WHISTLE! The whistle was so loud my dogs' hackles went up and started barking uncontrollably. They wouldn't get near the stove. It sounded like a smoke alarm! Which in a way is good - if you are in the furthest room in your house from your stove, you will know without question that your hot water is ready.” — Holly
“Pros- +Stainless steel on inside and out. +Aluminum on bottom does not actually touch the water so I am not getting aluminum exposure(the [fused] encapsulated bottom is like the double insulated baking pans). +It is easy to refill under sink +Does not burn hand during pouring (Kettle forces hand placement to open the lid because handle/lid mechanism connected). +Has not rusted +Seems to be fused so there are no leaks, so good quality +I know it seems weird to mention but a high pour spout- this is ergonomic and weight evenly distributed. Cons- -Lid has to be closed completely for whistle to blow (I've had kettles in past where that did not matter) -Not a bigger version. In my search for the perfect kettle (stainless steel without enamel, with an ergonomic handle with no burning hands from pouring action) it was difficult to find a kettle that was as big as my last kettle. -other people say rust with this model but from my online kettle search, there's not a model out there that does not rust... and personally I've not experienced any kettle that has not ever rusted a little. So I just expect to get some rust eventually but don't think I'll care.” — Monica
