Insightful Reviews
We've curated some of the most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:
“I bought these based on the reputation of the manufacturer. I wanted a faucet mounted filter. This does an excellent job at keeping this strange debris and taste out of my tap water. If was incredibly easy to install. Of NOTE: I had substituted another brand and I discovered when I ordered Brita again? There was a true difference. You can even tell by how much more time it takes to get the really filtered water vs the substitute filter. I LOVE this product!!” — Deana
“We've used our share of tap water filters, and so far I find this brand to be perfectly adequate. I'm no expert as to if there's something better on the market, but all I know is its inexpensive and makes the water taste better. Some people have complained in the reviews about the longevity of these refills, but I haven't noticed anything so far. I also noted that the light on the device immediately turned green when I changed the filter which means Britta is already doing something better than those other brands. I never had the light be accurate before when using other devices. The filters do not come in their own vaccume sealed bags (some of the reviewers seemed freaked out about that) and the box is very basic - but it didn't look like it had been used before or dirty. I will buy these again.” — Anna
“I have had no issues with these filters and love them. People who complain about the light not working on the base unit are falling for a marketing gimmick. Those indicators are there to get you to replace your filters more often. Use the taste of your water to tell you when to change the filter. I use mine for at least 9 months at a time. Granted, I am a household of one, and I am very diligent about changing to non-filtered for anything that's not drinking, coffee or cooking water. Yea, sometimes the base leaks a little. Whatever. I just position the filtered stream so that the non filtered water doesn't get into whatever I'm using as a receptacle. I've had the same faucet unit for 6 years and have never had a need to replace anything but the filters. The filter WORKS and the proof is in the taste of my water. Everything people complain about is minor compared to the convenience of having safe, great tasting water at the faucet.” — Kris
