Insightful Reviews
We've curated some of most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:.
“This pitcher is easy to use and looks nice and we're very happy with it. The one "drawback" is that there is no electronic system to warn you when the filter is done. I'm guessing we will probably not go the full 6 months before we switch out. **** UPDATE ***** NOTE: After about a month of use the filter blocked up and we had to get a new one (none of the recommended "hacks" worked to fix it.) At $19.99 a shot this could get expensive. We are watching closely to see how long the filter will last this time and whether it was just a fluke or a real flaw in the system.” — Claire
“This is a nice size for one or two people with limited refrigerator space. For a bit more, if you have space, an 18 cup version is available. They claim that it is cheaper than buying bottled water. It is much easier and lighter than lifting and moving large cases of bottled water, and less plastic waste. It will be interesting to see how long the filters last compared to the advertised claims. The long lasting filters are more expensive than the standard filters, but should be more economical in the long run. The water sure tastes better.” — Jimmy
“Find something else. The first few fills, after the initial prepping cycles as stated in user guide, went great. Nowadays, after just 2-3 weeks, it takes up to an hour to filter an entire reservoir. Last week it only took 15 minutes. Maybe a bad filter? Who knows. But for the price you pay, it should last much longer. Maybe some have the time to wait an hour for a pitcher of water to be filtered, but unfortunately we do not. I'd move on. EDIT: I went out and bought another filter to see if maybe I just received a defective one. Nope. Same issue. Works great for a few fills (after the initial break-in fills), and then filtering comes to a complete crawl. After 24 hours, it still does not filter a full pitcher. I removed a star and would remove them all if Amazon allowed it. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY.” — Javier
