“Heats water fast and very hot when finished. A small amount of noise but not too bad. If you have to use a drop cord (and I do) it works well but when you lift the pot off of the stand, the stand is so light the cord can drag it off onto the floor. Another thing is you can't heat two pots in a roll. You have to let the pot cool quite a bit before it will turn on again and heat more. But that is actually a good thing, it keeps it from overheating. I just filled it with cold water and set it on the stand, turned it on and after a short while it automatically started heating again. The first pot was still pretty hot when the second was heated so that isn't a problem. As for cleaning, my daughter washed it and said it was aggravating because the lid doesn't come off and gets in the way a little. But not too bad. When you pour the heated water out of the pot you have to pour it slow or it runs down the outside of the pot spilling it. Overall, I like the pot and will buy another later when needed. It is a very good water heating pot, heats the water real hot, it is fast, little noise, shuts off when heated. It also keeps the water hot for a good while after heating and shutting off. “Shiny. Heats up in minutes. Easy to clean. This is the second time I purchase this brand. It is a few dollars cheaper than competitors and work perfectly well I’ve had them for a long time. I like the fact that they hold quite a bit of water since I like a few cups of coffee in the morning.I had glass ones in the past and they broke some time to just from the hot water in them. “My family uses this multiple times a day. We are American, so electric tea kettles aren't really a popular thing, here. But my Asian roommate in grad school had one, and I got used to using it. Since the pandemic started, I've been staying with my parents, and we love drinking tea. But I missed the convenience of an electric kettle. I found this one, and that's how I ended up buying it. My mom loved the sleek look of it as soon as I unboxed it, and she couldn't wait to use it. We cleaned it (which is super easy), and then made our first cups of tea. Since then, we've used it morning and night, for tea, oatmeal, hot water brownies, and so on. So easy! It heats up the water, then cuts off when it's reached optimal temperature. I put 3 for temperature control only because you can't select the temperature you want, but it does turn itself off when it's finished heating your water. We've had it for a while, now. I wanted to wait to rate it to see if we'd have any problems, but it's worked well, so far. Seems to do well even with daily use, multiple times a day, so that's great! And it wasn't expensive, so if it poops out after a year or two, we're fine with just buying another one. I'll probably be getting one for myself, anyway, when I leave home again.” — Raven
