“I was on the hunt for a 1L kettle, for work, so I found this one. The reviews seemed good so I figured to try it out. It works very well to boil water fast. There are markings on the actual glass that shows the minimum and maximum water levels to fill it up, so that it doesn't boil over, so that was a nice feature. This doesn't have the bells and whistles, so if you're looking for something high-tech, this may not work for you. This is a simple kettle that works!!! You fill it up, turn it on, it lights up a pretty blue color and will turn off once the water has reached the boiling point (takes a few minutes, very fast). Since I use it mainly for myself, I find that filling it up to the minimum level is enough water for my cup of tea or pour over coffee, in case you are wondering. Also, use filtered water, otherwise, you'll get mineral deposits along the bottom if you use tap (I use water from my Brita pitcher). The best way to clean it is to use 1 part water, 1 part vinegar, to remove the mineral deposits. By using filtered water, there's less cleaning involved. I recommend not submerging it in water to clean.” — Liam

“I have always loved electric kettles because they make keeping tea by my desk so much easier. This one in particular made the job super easy. With the built in filter you could probably just dump the loose leaf into the pot. The filter is used automatically whenever you put our the water and it's fairly fine.
