“I have only ever written one review before, but I felt compelled to write a review about this product. Firstly, it needs to be noted that I am a water snob. I have had reverse osmosis systems in my houses (on well water and city water) for years - even in bathroom sinks as well as using the Brita water filters and pitchers. The difference in the quality of water and the reduced water wastage over RO and Brita is not comparable. The Epic Water Pitcher is a far superior solution to anything Brita can produce. At last I can enjoy a perfect glass of water and not be concerned about mineral or chlorine taste or any other horrible nasties.” — Chris
“I have had Brita, Pur and another one that used to be sold by Bed, Bath and Beyond (can't remember the name). I wanted a pitcher that took out fluoride, because fluoride is a poison (just read the caution on the back a toothpaste tube that contains fluoride - it will tell you to contact poison control if your swallow it). The water tastes great and filters quickly. I saw a couple reviews complaining about the water passing through the filter too slowly or not at all. That is not my experience at all. It filters water more quickly than any of the ones I have used in the past and as I said, the water tastes great. Nice job!” — Rachel
“The main problem is that it states it will filter 150 gallons of water. It stopped filtering after about 20 uses. That’s about 5 gallons. It has a mechanism that “counts down” how much water was filtered so indicates when to change the filter. Well that indicator went to 0 way too quickly. Then I thought the digital reader was defective but it wouldn’t filter any more water! So I paid $54 for about 5 gallons of water. And they want $44 for a replacement filter???!!!!! I would give it no stars but am forced to give it one star in each category in order to post my review.” — Andijo
