“I had a top load water dispenser in which it was getting harder to lift that bottle to the top. This bottom load has made it so much easier to replace bottles. Yes, it is a little louder than the top load because it has to pump the water up to be dispensed. This is understandable because top loads do not need to do this. The noise is not that bad. “’ve owned quite a few water coolers over the years. This by far is the best I’ve owned. Not only does it have a sanitizing feature but also eliminates the need for heavy lifting of the 5 Gallon water bottles. This unit loads the water in a compartment in the lower portion of the cooler. Additionally, there isn’t any guess work when it’s time to replace the bottle. The empty bottle indicator will flash when a fresh bottle is needed.
