iSpring FC15B

The iSpring FC15B is a coconut shell-activated carbon block filter cartridge for use in under-sink and whole-house water filtration systems. The company says that it protects healthy minerals, does not contain surfactants, adhesives, or binders, and does not absorb carbon ash while blocking chlorine taste and odor. The block carbon filter can be used as a second stage replacement filter cartridge for the iSpring US21B Under Sink Water Filter and WGB21B Whole House Water Filtration System, as well as a first stage replacement filter cartridge for the WGB21BM and WGB21B-PB. FC15B is said to generate clear, good-tasting water for the majority of people.

“I love the ISpring Water Filtration system. I put this system in my house approx 1.5 years ago and just changed the main filter. It is rated for 36K gallons of water. Our filter looked orange as we have nothing but red clay here in Atlanta! This filter works great with the pre-filter and they filter out just about everything that is bad for you! The water is clear AA quality lake water, but it has to be chlorinated to get rid of nuisance levels of bacteria and algae. “Had problems with sulfur odor in my well water. I installed this filter about a week ago, and so far, no odor. I hope it lasts for a few months. Finally, a solution to the sulfur smell in my water, and the water overall seems cleaner. It seems to be a good quality filter.
