“I purchased this to use to brew Kombucha and it is perfect! I ordered two SCOBYs from Kombucha Kamp and already had a really nice baby SCOBY after three days. I decided on the solid white porcelain dispenser because the stainless steel is reported to have sharp edges and is two seller pieces with the seam inside of the pot itself at the bottom and is difficult to clean. “I love this crock. It works great with a 5-gallon Primo water jug on top, very sturdy. We upgraded to the stainless faucet without even trying the plastic one - the seals on the stainless faucet and the heavy feel of it are just better. However, you do NOT need an extra plastic seal ring at the top of the crock, between the jug and the crock edge. This product comes with one that works perfectly fine already.” — Carter
