“It does boil my water in a minute and a few seconds when I fill it to the lowest minimum line with room temperature water. My roommate just told me it took 5 to 6 minutes to boil their water. Upon further investigation I realized they were boiling a full pot up to maximum line of refrigerated water. So the time it takes to boil water varies with the amount of water, the temperature of the water and also we are at sea level and higher altitudes may take longer. “don’t like waiting for tea kettles to heat up water on the stove, this heats up SO fast and the blue light looks cool. Super easy to use, just click the button at the bottom down and when it’s done boiling it pops back up and the light turns off. Very quick and holds a lot of water. Great for coffee pour overs or French press, tea, or anything you’d need some quick boiling water for. No issues so far and seems to be a high quality, durable product that doesn’t feel cheap or like it will break easy. “Im impressed at how quickly this gets the water to a full rolling boil, i timed 1liter to about 3 minutes. Its way faster than my previous tfal boiler don't know how it compares to others. Appears to be well made and the swiss made label lends to that. Don't know how much of it actually is swiss made, I see prc (people's republic of china) on some parts. But doesn't really matter to me as long as it's a good product. It would probably be way more expensive if it were actually all Swiss. I especially like the blue glow that surrounds the base while boiling. Definitely seems way more expensive than it is. As a half Swiss I just like seeing the swiss flag on it. So far I'm very pleased and would highly recommend it. My sister has one too and is also very happy with it.” — Igor
