Insightful Reviews

“Absolutely gorgeous, sturdy, ergonomic kettle! I bought this as a gift for my mom and she couldn't have been more thrilled. She has arthritic hands, so design features were a big concern. This Pykal kettle is easy for her to lift, pour, (even when full) and the button trigger to open the spout is also comfortable on her fingers. Another big plus is the whistle. My mom is elderly and her hearing isn't what it used to be. The whistle on this kettle is quite loud, enough for her to be alerted while in other rooms of the house. Also, the "stay cool" handle really does what it says! I was amazed that the kettle can be picked up by the handle immediately after turning of the burner (we have a gas stove) without wait time. Perfect!” — Chantel
“The handle here rises way above the heat. The lid opens easily to fill (no filling through the spout like many others) but fits snugly enough for the whistle to work very well. Yes, the handle stays cool; yes, the push button to pour works easily; The style is more modern than the rest of my kitchen but really is quite attractive, especially with the mix of polished and brushed stainless steel. The tea infusers that are included are attractive and open and close easily, but really don't matter because this is all about the kettle. This is my new every day kettle. If I ever have a problem I'll update this, but I really can't imagine what could happen as this is good solid construction. Very happy! EDIT: Six months later and I still love this kettle. Silly thing to love, I know, but I use it every day.” — Nick
“We’ve had the Pykal tea kettle for almost 2 weeks, and it’s been great. The cool handle is really nice, and the button to open the spout seems sturdy and works well. It’s a large kettle, and we never fill it very full so it whistles quickly. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far we’re happy!” — Christine
