Insightful Reviews

“In order to test a new filtration system for my nitrate ridden well water, I ordered this kit. I had just had my water tested by the County so I had accurate information for comparison & I was pleased to see the test strips were in line with the County's assessment. It won’t give you specific numbers like a lab would but the parameters are good. The kit will let me test more often and give me an indication of when I need to change filters. Very helpful product!” — Pamela
“I got these to see if my kitchen sink was hooked up to soft water or hard water. With these strips I was very quickly able to figure out that the hot water from the sink was soft water, and the cold water was hard water. I was going to put off testing until a day when I was less tired, because I thought it would be complicated to figure out and to do correctly, but I decided to look at the instructions to see how difficult it would be. It turned out it was super easy. The colors made it easy to tell what the levels were for e such of the 16 tests. It also made it clear that our tap water is free from lead and other contaminants which was reassuring. I highly recommend these strips.” — Nik
“I don't believe these are accurate. I tested my raw water, through a Brita, through a different style filer, a bottle of water and my boyfriends tap water. All the results were idebtial. My house water is extremely chlorinated and there is barely any reading. Our tap water also has fluoride added and its showing a 0 read out.” — Jennifer
