“It’s simple to use, just add water press the button on the handle and watch the water boil in about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Once boiling is complete, the unit shuts itself off. After reading other comments my suggestions are to keep a little water in the kettle to avoid exposing a hot element, not a problem if you are using it daily, (this will help avoid discoloration or corrosion on the element if you’re in an area with lower water quality). The hot handle you might feel at the top of the handle is actually steam, not the handle, so take your time while pouring and hold the handle lower, away from the on button.” — George
