“Please note this is NOT a water softener but a conditioner. I have hard water that if left untreated causes scale deposits inside piping and appliances. This water conditioner works as expected eliminating and or reducing those deposits. I believe this produce is well constructed and came complete with schedule 80 PVC fittings. These fittimgs are gray shown in the attached photo. I didn't use the valve provided with the kit because I added more valving that didn't match the one provided.
