Insightful Reviews

We've curated some of the most helpful comments and reviews from people all over the world. Read what they had to say:

“I’ve been using Brita pitchers and filters for decades. I now live in a condo where we receive warnings of possible lead in our water supply, so I have always dutifully run the cold water for a few minutes before refilling my pitcher. I didn’t realize that these longer-lasting filters specifically targeted lead, which they do, so I wish I had gotten the memo years ago. I still take the extra step of letting the water run just in case, but, even if these filters do just a little bit better than the “old” kind, I feel ever so much safer using them” — Mary
“I was a little bit hesitant to purchase this after reading all the reviews talking about how long it took for the water to filter. But fortunately, thus far it's been great. The water has no specks floating in it and tastes great. The filter seems to be lasting. And most importantly, the filter times have been really impressive. An 8 oz cup of water filters in about 90 seconds. It takes about 6 to 7 minutes to totally filter the reservoir which fills half the pitcher, thus to fill the whole pitcher with filtered water takes about 12 to 14 minutes. Maybe to some that's a long time but to me that's actually great. I'm perfectly happy to wait that long to make sure my water has no lead in it. If each of these filters really do last 6 months then it's really fantastic. Great tasting lead-free water that filters relatively quickly where you only have to pay around $28 to get to filters that will last you the entire year. So far really happy.” — Terry
“I've been using these for about 2.5 years, every day, and they work just fine. They might filter a little more slowly than the regular Brita filters, but not that much slower. I fill the reservoir, put the pitcher in the refrigerator, and by the time I come back, it's done. Maybe it takes an hour, I don't know, and I don't care.” — Bob
