Has a spring action plug for the power that pops the kettle free, really nice option, and has awesome tech for keeping it hot, and is really easy to clean where I can easily get my hand in there to wash it out. “I love this! I received mine yesturday and was so excited! It was so easy to fill because of the nice big top! I did 2 boiling cycles as directed to clean out impurities even though i did wash it out straight from unpacking. I even turned out the light to see the pretty blue glow and it was super cute! The blue color with the boiling, rolling water was gorgeous! It took about 2 min once i got the kettle on the base, which is so easy my 6 yr old put it there..im on crutches so i couldnt carry it from the sink lol! As soon as we clicked it on..u could see the water already getting hot..didnt even take 2.5 secs...as soon as the water got to the boiling temp it needed, it did shut right off on its own. The blue light clicked off and the kettle turned off..i had to do nothing but pour. No funny taste, only clear, clean, hot boiling water ready for use! Amazing product! I did notice the lil spots on the bottom but im going to let it sit in the white vinegar for about 30 to an hour and that wont be in there anymore when i pour it out!
