First of all, what are collapsible water bottles? Also known as foldable or flexible bottles, collapsible water bottles do exactly as their name suggests: they fold up to a fraction of their size in seconds. And they come in a huge variety of styles, shapes, and colors.

Not only are folding bottles super compact to use, but they're also ultra-convenient to bring with you on trips. Of course, your portable water bottle has to be empty to reach its ultimate space-saving potential.

Collapsible water bottles are much lighter than their glass or stainless steel counterparts, meaning carrying a bottle on a trip or in your bag should be a breeze. Many can be strapped to the outside of a bag or backpack to save even more room.

If you want to take the safety factor up a notch, there are even collapsible water bottles out there created from sugarcane. Amazingly enough, this means that they are additive and phthalate-free as well.

Some collapsible water bottles are equipped with a filter that make sure no contaminants like chlorine make it into your body. Also, antimicrobial collapsible bottles are treated with a thin layer of silver ion that kills any bacteria and microbes in your drink.

As mentioned above, most collapsible water bottles handle cold and hot beverages, so you can fill them with many liquids besides water: juice, soda pop, coffee, tea, milk, even soup.
