The Town of Narragansett Water System - Point Judith supplies water to about 8,210 residents living in the Narragansett area of Washington County, Rhode Island. The Point Judith Water System purchases water from SUEZ Water, which draws from gravel-packed wells that pump up to seven million gallons of water per day from the Mink Brook Aquifer. The water is chemically treated with sodium hypochlorite for disinfection, lime for pH adjustment, and zinc orthophosphate for corrosion control.
