The City of Douglas Water supplies water to about 6,400 residents living in the Douglas area of Converse County, Wyoming. Douglas Water Department provides water from three sources - the Little Boxelder Spring located west of Douglas with two million gallons per day capacity,  Sheep Mountain Well that can produce 1.5 million gallons daily, and the Water Treatment Plant that treats two million gallons of water a day from the North Platte River during the summer.
