The Laramie Utilities Division provides water for about 30,899 residents living in the Laramie area, Wyoming. Established in 1868, the Laramie Utilities Division collects supply from a combination of sources. Approximately 50% (surface water) of the City’s drinking water is provided by the Big Laramie River and 50% (groundwater) from wellfields in the Casper Aquifer.
