The City of Lewistown Water supplies water to about 5,923 residents living in the Lewistown area of Fergus County, Montana. The Lewistown Water Department receives water from the Madison Aquifer, about 8 miles south of Lewistown, and distributes it via two underground transmission pipes that originate near the major springs. The water contains a fluoride additive, which promotes healthy teeth.
