Water sources include rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. Founded in 1963, Jackson County PWSD 13 collects water from groundwater wells - Horizontal Collector Well #5 and Wells #1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8, and treats water with chemicals approved by the National Safety Foundation.
