Established in 1925, Raytown Water Company receives water from the Kansas City PWS through a Consecutive Connection. The Kansas City PWS purchases its water from the Jackson County PWSD 2, which in turn buys from the Independence PWS. The Company's drinking water also comes from rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells.
