The Presque Isle Utilities District provides water services to about 6,128 residents living in the Presque Isle area of Aroostook County. Water sources include rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. Presque Isle Utilities District obtains water from two gravel wells on Reach Road and chemically treats water with Ozone, ultraviolet light, and Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) to improve the quality.
