The Borough of Beach Haven Water Department, a public community water system, provides water for about 20,000 residents living in the Beach Haven area, New Jersey. Established in 1873, the Borough of Beach Haven Water obtains its supply from three active wells drawing water from Atlantic City "800-foot" Sand Aquifer System and Kirkwood-Cohansey Water-table Aquifer System. Also, Beach Haven Borough can purchase water from Long Beach Township Water Department should the need arises.
