The Chatham Water Department supplies water to about 8,962 people living in the Chatam area of Morris County. The Chatham Water Department collects water from three wells, about 150 feet deep and located at Public Works Complex, that produce water from the Central Passaic River Basin's Buried Valley Aquifer system.
