Borough of Allendale Water, a water and wastewater facility around the world under Veolia and merged with Suez. It provides water to about 6,702 residents living in Allendale, Bergen County, New Jersey. Founded in 1894, Borough of Allendale Water System currently obtains its supply from mixed sources: groundwater sources, primarily five wells that drill into the aquifer located at West Crescent Avenue, Meeker Avenue, and Mew Street; and surface water from the Haworth Water Treatment Plant. Consequently, emergency interconnections are also provided by the Village of Ridgewood and the Borough of Ramsey.
