The Cedar Grove Water, a public community water system under the Township Department of Water, provides water for about 12,900 residents living in the area of Cedar Grove, New Jersey. Established in 1908, the Cedar Grove Water System is currently obtaining its supply via purchase from the Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC). PVWC‘s sources of supply include the Passaic River and treated water that is supplied by the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission (NJDWSC).
