The Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority (EMUA), a public community water and sewer system under the Township of Evesham Department of Public Works, provides water for about 45,538 residents living in the area of Marlton, New Jersey. Established in 1959, the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of groundwater sources: wells that draw water from the Potomac-Raritan-Magothy (PRM) and the Wenonah Mt. Laurel aquifers. EMUA may also purchase additional drinking water from Mt. Laurel Township Municipal Utilities Authority (MLTMUA), which pumps water from three wells within the PRM; and New Jersey American Water Company (NJAWC), which uses Delaware River and groundwater wells.
