The Manasquan Water, a public community water system under the Borough Department of Water and Sewer, provides water for about 14,000 residents living in the area of Manasquan, a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Established in 1887, the Borough of Manasquan Water Department System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources consisting of four wells drawing from the Atlantic City “800-foot” Sand Aquifer System. Additionally, the Borough can purchase water from the following water systems: Brielle Water Department, Sea Girt Water Department, Wall Township Water Department, or New Jersey American Water when the demand arises.
