The Mantua Township Municipal Utilities Authority, a public potable water and sanitary sewer systems authority, provides water for about 12,600 residents living in the area of Mantua Township, New Jersey. Established in 1973, the Mantua Township Municipal Utilities Authority Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: groundwater from seven wells: four wells in the upper Potomac-Raritan-Magothy aquifer and three in the Mount Laurel-Wenonah aquifer; and treated surface water via purchase from the New Jersey American Water Company.
