The Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority (OBMUA) provides water for about 67,215 residents living in the area of Old Bridge, New Jersey. Established in 1985, the Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority currently obtains its supply from a combination of sources: surface water from the Delaware and Raritan Canals and also from the Spruce Run and Round Valley Reservoirs, purchased from the Middlesex Water Company; and groundwater from the Old Bridge MUA’s eight wells that pump water from the Old Bridge and Farrington Aquifers.
