The Pine Hill Borough Municipal Utilities Authority (PHBMUA), a public potable water and sanitary sewer system authority, provides water to about 10,233 residents living in Pine Hill, a borough in Camden County, New Jersey. Founded in 1929, the Pine Hill Borough Municipal Utilities Authority System currently obtains its supply from multiple sources: groundwater sources, primarily three wells that drill into the Mt. Laurel-Wenonah Aquifer and the Potomac-Raritan-Magothy Aquifer. The depths of the wells range from 165 feet to 670 feet. PHBMUA also purchases water from New Jersey American Water Company, drawn from mixed sources: surface water from the Delaware River in Delran and groundwater from wells that pump water from Burlington and Camden Counties.
