The Borough of Tuckerton Water supplies water to about 6,285 residents living in the Tuckerton area of Ocean County, New Jersey. The Water Department collects water from two groundwater wells that draw from the Atlantic City 800-Foot Sand Aquifer and the Kirkwood-Cohansey Water-Table Aquifer. Tuckerton Borough Water Department also purchases water from the Little Egg Harbor MUA and treats it with chlorine for disinfection and fluoride for strong teeth.
