The City of Carthage Water supplies water to about 5,069 residents living in the Carthage area of Leake County, Mississippi. Carthage Water Department collects water from three wells drawing groundwater from the Meridian Upper Wilcox Aquifer, and the water contains fluoride and chlorine components added to drinking water to promote oral health and prevent microbial growth.
