The City of Ridgeland Water, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 24,047 residents living in the Ridgeland area, Mississippi. Established in 1899, the City of Ridgeland collects water from groundwater sources: three deep-water supply wells in the Cockfield Aquifer and four deep-water supply wells in the Sparta Aquifer.
