The Town of Hartford Water supplies water to about 7,600 residents of Hartford, White River Junction, and Wilder Cities in Windsor County, Vermont. Hartford Water System collects water from two gravel-packed wells that draw from a groundwater aquifer and maintains a connection with Lebanon, NH in case of emergency. The water is filtered and treated with sodium hypochlorite for disinfection.
