Established in 1973, the Mantua Township Municipal Utilities Authority Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: groundwater from seven wells: four wells in the upper Potomac-Raritan-Magothy aquifer and three in the Mount Laurel-Wenonah aquifer; and treated surface water via purchase from the New Jersey American Water Company.
