Nj American Water - Western
The NJ American Water – Delaware, Western Division, a public community water system and subsidiary of American Water (NYSE: AWK), provides water for about 264,586 residents living in the Voorhees area and several neighboring communities. Established in 1915, the NJ American Water – Delaware, Western Division collects water from the Potamac-Raritan-Magohthy aquifer system (upper middle and lower), the Delaware River, the Mount Laurel-Wenonah aquifer and the Englishtown aquifer system. In addition, groundwater is purchased from the Township of Maple Shade Water Department.
