The Town of Plymouth Water, a public community water system under the Town Department of Public Works – Water Division, provides water for about 41,499 residents living in the area of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Established in 1620, the Town of Plymouth Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of ground water sources, 12 gravel-packed wells at ten locations throughout Plymouth that pump water from the Plymouth-Carver Sole Source Aquifer.
