The Yukon Water provides water for about 22,498 residents living in the Yukon area, Oklahoma. Established in 1891, the Yukon Water collects water supply from two sources: groundwater from Garber-Wellington Aquifer and purchased water provided by Oklahoma City (OKC). Yukon water is blended with OKC water prior to the entry point of Yukon. Depending on the month, 60 percent of the total water supply for Yukon is OKC water.
