The Broken Arrow Water, operated by Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA), provides water for about 98,850 residents living in the Broken Arrow area. Established in 1902, the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority collects Surface Water from its municipal water treatment plant, which draws raw water from the Verdigris River. Broken Arrow Water also purchases some of its supply from the City of Tulsa, as its secondary water source, when demand arises.
