Passaic Valley Water Commission

The Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) – Lodi, a public drinking water supplier owned by the cities of Paterson, Clifton, and Passaic, provides water for about 24,136 residents living in the Clifton area, New Jersey. Established in 1837, the Passaic Valley Water Commission obtains its supply from surface water sources: the Passaic River in Totowa, or Pompton River, and the Point View Reservoir when the need arises. PVWC also purchases finished water from North Jersey District Water Supply Commission’s (NJDWSC) Wanaque WTP drawing from the Wanaque Reservoir.
