The Sunrise Utility Association, Inc. provides water services to about 5,850 residents living in the Petal area of Forrest County, Mississippi. Sunrise Utility collects water from four wells drawing from the Lower and Middle Catahoula Aquifer. The Water Department treats water with chemicals approved by the National Safety Foundation, including chlorine for disinfection and fluoride for oral health protection.
