The City of Coeur d’ Alene Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Water, provides water for about 44,426 residents living in the area of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Established in 1887, the City of Coeur d’ Alene Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a ground water source, 10 wells located throughout the city that pump water from the Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer.
