The City of Fruitland Water supplies water through 2,276 service connections to about 6,000 residents living in the Fruitland area of Fayette County, Idaho. Fruitland Water Department collects surface water from the Payette River and is delivered to its microfiltration membrane water treatment plant for processing. Six groundwater wells, including wells #1, #10, #11, #15, #19, & #20, within the City are used for backup supply during emergencies. The water is chlorinated and stored in three storage tanks.
