The Town of Newmarket provides water services to about 5,030 residents in the Newmarket neighborhood of Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Newmarket Water Department collects water from two sand gravel wells, Sewall and Bennett Wells, and one Bedrock Well, Macintosh Well. While Sewall and Bennett Wells are on the Newmarket Plains Aquifer off RTE 152, the Macintosh Well is near Ash Swamp Road. The water is chemically treated and blended before it is distributed to the residents.
